Tether's excess reserves rise to $7.95B

Tether, the issuer of USDT, reported growth in excess reserves for the third quarter: from $4.11 billion to $7.95 billion. The figure nearly doubled but stayed below the March high of $8.23 billion.
According to BDO's conclusion, the company's assets at the end of September totaled $191.45 billion against liabilities of $183.5 billion. Net operating profit for the quarter remained at $1.5 billion, and over nine months reached $4.5 billion.
For holders and exchangers of USDT, these figures reflect the size of the buffer the issuer keeps above its token obligations.
