OpenAI signs four agreements with Abu Dhabi organizations

OpenAI signed four agreements with Abu Dhabi organizations on November 2. The deals followed a meeting between company head Sam Altman and the emirate's crown prince, according to the local media office. Oil and gas group ADNOC and technology holding G42 will be the first in the energy sector to deploy OpenAI's Frontier platform, designed for creating and managing AI agents. Sovereign fund Mubadala will use OpenAI models for investment analysis and risk assessment. A five-year agreement with Inception42, a G42 subsidiary, covers AI adoption in the UAE's public sector, business and education. In addition, Abu Dhabi authorities will convert part of their regulations into a machine-readable format so neural networks can help officials with routine checks.
